24-369 Vintage Taxco Chunky Sterling Hinged Cuff

Famed Mexican silversmiths from Taxco designed this fabulous Mid-Century Modern hinged cuff. Hand-made from hammered high quality 925 sterling silver. Minor wear from use. 73 grams. Inside diameter is approximately 7″. Approximately 13/16″ or 20mm wide. Very nice patina.

Mid-Century Modern pioneer William Spratling founded his jewelry company in Taxco because the silver was very good quality and the labor was affordable. He led the modernist Mexican jewelry and tabletop design movement in the 1950s and 60s. The clasp is tight, the size is small to medium.
