Attributed to Oball, Murano, Italy circa 1970s, this sweet ruby red-over-clear sommerso art glass piece is just the perfect size. Unsigned. Vetreria Artistica Oball was founded by Luigi Onesto, later joined by his sons Fabio and Michele and is still producing today. This piece is a fine example of their artistry. Ruby red is one of the more expensive colors to produce because they use gold in the chemical formula.
