An original sanguine conté crayon drawing on paper by Robert Berks. 17 x 24 inches as framed in matte white wood. This piece was acquired directly from his estate. It is not signed or dated. The style is Art Deco so my assumption it dates quite early in his career.

Robert Berks (1922 – 2011) was an American sculptor, industrial designer and planner. Bob was prolific and created numerous sketches, drawings, and paintings; often in service of sculpture and site-planning subjects. He worked for over 50 years in a converted schoolhouse in Orient on the North Fork of Long Island, NY.
