Description
A fine example of the diamond cut form popularized by Alessandro Mandruzzato. Made in Italy for Murano, probably in the 1960s. The original foil sticker is intact, indicating either that it was never used, or that is was extremely well cared for. It impossible to describe the vivid specular effect of the beveled shape. Light refracts through it at all kinds of angles changing the color and appearance. A miniature work of art.
