Superb form in vivid red color with original 1960s Murano label intact. This unusual five-sided shape commands a premium over the more common square block vase. The red color looks different depending on the light. It is very rich and deep. The technique is sommerso— submerged layers of glass to achieve the effect.
Seeing the label on the underside leads us to believe that it was displayed, not used.
