Description
Offered here is a superb cased glass block vase. It looks larger than its 6.5 inch height. Made from sommerso (submerged) multi-hued glass in pale shades of gray. It is most likely by Mandruzzato, the Murano master glass fabricator founded in 1956. The main color is pale gray cased glass with crystal clear glass at the bottom. Crisp edges and heavy crystal make this piece stand out. My favorite form of any vase by far. It is suitable as a functional piece but we prefer to display these in groupings as table sculpture.
