Vintage 1968 print from a portfolio issued by Pilgrim Press. This collection of Sister Mary Corita Kent’s pop art silkscreens followed on the heels of her appearance on the cover of Newsweek. This work features the famous 1913 Gertrude Stein quote, “A rose is a rose is a rose…” rendered in a never-ending loop silkscreen printed in vivid DayGlo© fluorescent inks.
