Description
Jung was born in Sicily and exhibited in Milan. She never quite broke into the mainstream art world. As one of the few female artists in midcentury Italian modern art S. V. Jung (1917-2005) was a member of the innovative Concrete Art Movement. This group published an important portfolio of artist’s silkscreens and lithographs in the late 1950s. This work appeared in the 1956 edition of Documenti d’Arte d’Oggi, published in Milan by Groupe Espace. Note: the signature is in the plate.
