Angelo “Gillo” Dorfles (1910-2018) was born in Italy and taught aesthetics at the University of Trieste in Milan. Dorfles founded the Concrete Art Movement with Bruno Munari and other prominent Italian modern artists. This group published an important portfolio of artist’s silkscreens and lithographs in the late 1950s.
