Description
Fine tapered shape with deep carved sgraffito design in African tribal patterns popular in 1950s East Germany. The color is an extremely dark metallic gray-sepia that appears black in all but the strongest light. The carved designs are in tones of off-white—the aged natural porcelain base. This fabricator is also known as VEB Lausitzer Keramik. Designed by Anton Piesche. 8 inches tall.
