Description
A contemporary Japanese bowl in the style of 1960s Scandinavian modern designs: Stig Lindberg, Ingrid Atterberg, etc. It’s marked Ichi on the bottom. It’s 9½ inches in diameter and sits on a rather elegant tapered foot. We also have a smaller version. It’s worth noting that this design is also remarkably similar to the amazing 1950s work of London’s Lucie Rie. Rie’s bowls are usually only seen in museums like the MoMA or the V&A due to their scarcity.
