Huta Szkła “Tarnowiec” [Glass Works “Tarnowiec”] made this amazing decanter. It looks at first like something from 1960s Empoli, Italy. Nope. This is most likely from the late 1990s and hails from Poland. This fabricator perfected their own unique cased glass technique and has been able to scale it up for export worldwide. It has a large, comfortable clear crystal applied handle. The spherical corpus sits on a clear 1/2 inch foot. This example is quite large at 13.5 inches tall and six inches wide. The oversized stopper is just great. The original label is intact meaning that this item is new/old stock or was displayed, never used. An excellent addition to the Mid-Century Modern bar.
