Description
Not in the Ludwig Moser or Josef Hoffmann catalog but definitely similar in look and feel. Bohemian/Czech glass I assume. Very heavy blown glass that’s been hand cut into a crisp hexagon shape wider in the midsection, narrower at the top and bottom. Very, very hard to do. A ground pontil mark on the bottom. Unmarked. The color is somewhere between amethyst and violet. It is large at about 9.5 inches tall. A thick clear base. One fleabite. Perhaps it is Murano? I’ve never seen it before. From an estate sale.
