Description
This artwork is distinctive because of the way the pattern responds to the viewer’s eye. A sense of movement, an awareness of the near-perfect but also not-perfect design. This is an original watercolor painting on heavy watercolor paper. It is framed in matte white wood, 8-ply acid-free mat, and a museum acrylic face. It measures 26 x 32 inches framed. It may be mounted in the vertical orientation too.
The artist, Leah Peeks, said it is up to the owner. The title is “South Ferry At Night On A Full Moon, July 2019.” It was painted on Shelter Island’s South Ferry Beach over three consecutive moonlit nights.
