Description
Our new favorite ceramics artist is the Argentinian born, New York resident Rosario Varela. Her contemporary studio pottery evokes the Mid-Century Modern designs of Hans Coper, Lucie Rie, Pavel Janek, and Harrison McIntosh. Each unique, hand made vessel is simple in form, hard to make, and utilitarian. This combination of modern design, natural finishes, and utility was learned from her father, an architect.
This item is 7 inches tall and almost six inches wide. Matte glaze exterior, gloss glazed interior. Each one of her works are one-of-a-kind.
