Description
Offered here is an unusual and impressive Mid-Century Modern relief painting signed Jama, dated 1966, and titled on the back “Vacances.” The surface of the work is in dimensional relief made from a sandy cement-like material, then painted in shades of blue, green and gray. It measures 22 x 28 inches and is in its original ebony frame with a cast iron grid to support the weight when the artwork is installed.
