An undated abstract serigraph signed H. Gilbert. This limited edition silkscreen print is in fine condition with bright solid colors and no foxing to the vintage paper its printed on. Dates from the Mid-Century. Signed and marked 117/200. This print is a modern black frame, matted, with a glass face. It measures 15 x 12 inches.

Gilbert was a New Jersey artist who printed this under the supervision of the surrealist Leo Russell at his atelier. Russell was a NY/NJ artist and educator beginning his career teaching in the WPA program. Russell has work in the permanent collection of the Guggenheim.
