Superb blue, violet, rose and lavender Mid-Century modern Murano faceted block art glass in the style of Flavio Poli for Seguso. It’s hard to describe the beautiful way light refracts through this form. It is round in shape with flat sides. The three-color sommerso technique glass layers are most visible at the juncture of the round and the flat surfaces.
It would function well as a vase or trinket, or pencil holder but we consider it a glass art sculpture. A gallery favorite when we can find them. This one is larger than usual at 5½ inches tall. Unmarked and undated. A few minor scratches and bubbles, typical on glass from the 1960s, too small to photograph.
