Description
This shape is a contemporary version of a Berndt Friberg design. Friberg was a legendary Swedish designer working for Gustavsberg in the Mid Century. Much of Friberg’s work was in fact inspired by Chinese urns where this fine piece was made. It features an elegant, bulbous shape with a narrow neck and a very pale blue and pale gray beige striated glossy glaze. 12 inches tall. No cracks or chips. Unused condition.
