Description
This unusual device is meant to hold a block of parmesan cheese. The server tightens the clamp on the cheese allowing a firm grip so that the cheese may be grated at the table. Missing the grater. Marked “UG-A Silverplate.” From my aunt’s estate. She collected fine 18th and 19th century silver and decorative objects.
