Description
We fell hard for the confident brush work in this abstract oil painting on masonite. It is a fine example from the period. Figurative, yes, but not overtly so. Signed lower right Virginia D. Smith. She is a mystery. The work is also signed and titled on the verso “Virginia D. Smith / Manhattan & Her Bridges.” 24 × 24 inches as custom framed in a high gloss white wood.
