Homage to Birger Carlstedt, a great Finnish artist working in the Mid-Century. Original gouache painting on canvas in a fine 1950s frame from Mexico. The painting is 8 × 10 inches and the overall framed size is 11½ × 14 inches. By Michael Aron.
Michael Aron studied art and design at the Wooster School in Ridgefield, CT; The Academy for Fine Art and Design in Genk, Belgium; Syracuse University; and got his BFA from the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in NYC.
