Josef Albers spent his adult life painting, documenting and writing about color in all of its variety and surprises A work from his Homage to the Square series is in most modern art museums.
Offered here is an offset reproduction of the original paintings at a reduced size. It was printed in Germany on 100 lb. wove finish uncoated lithographic paper by Walther König. It is in a white acid-free mat and a slim aluminum frame that measures 16 × 16 inches. These three paintings were done in the 1950s and 1960s.
