Selling Policy

Ray New York Online Selling Policy applies to sales of Ray New York (The terms “Ray New York”, “Seller”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” refer to Ray New York) products made through the Ray New York website (“RayNewYork.com”). All prices, terms, discounts and product offerings are subject to change without notice. The terms “you” or “your” refer to the “customer”. Sales of Ray New York products using our online store apply only to deliveries made in in the USA. International customers should contact our customer service department for more information (shop@RayNewYork.com or 001.917.848.4729).

Terms and Conditions of Sale

Sales by Ray New York of Ray New York products through the Ray New York online store (RayNewYork.com) within the United States are made only on the terms which are contained in this Selling Policy. This sale is expressly conditional upon your agreement to these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions may be changed only by a written document signed by both parties. The parties intend that these terms and conditions, together with the order confirmation and final invoice sent to you via electronic mail, constitute the final, complete, and exclusive agreement between Ray New York and you.

Order Confirmation

Your order placed through the Ray New York online store is not binding until you have received your order confirmation from Ray New York, which will be transmitted to you through electronic mail. You should print and review your order confirmation and keep a written copy for your records. Ray New York reserves the right, without notice to you, to limit your order quantity and/or refuse service to any customer. Ray New York reserves the right to cancel any order and to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions.

Pricing

The prices charged by Ray New York shall be those prices in effect on the date you receive your order confirmation. The cost of shipping the products to your requested is an estimate based on delivery location.

Taxes

Sales tax will be charged when applicable in accordance with the rules established by tax authorities in the US territories where the products will be delivered. All sales, use, excise and other taxes applicable to the sale of the Products are your sole responsibility and will be charged at the time the products are shipped. Ray New York will provide you with an estimate of these taxes at the time you submit your order; however, this estimate may be revised by Ray New York prior to shipment if tax rates change.

Terms of Payment

You are required to provide a valid credit card number to Ray New York when your order is submitted. By submitting your order, you authorize Ray New York to charge your credit card for the entire purchase price, plus shipping costs and taxes and any applicable restocking charges or return delivery/freight charges. Ray New York reserves the right to accept or reject the credit card number you provide when you enter your order. By submitting an order and a credit card number, you represent to Ray New York that you are the card holder, that the card is valid and that you are authorized to make the charges.

Trade

We do offer trade and volume discounts to design professionals. You must provide Ray New York with your re-seller’s certificate, Tax ID number or proof of membership in a professional organization (AIA, ASID, etc.) in order to qualify for any trade discounts. Please call 917-848-4729 to speak with a customer service representative about setting up trade account.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit cards.

Returns

All requests for damage claims, or order cancelations/changes must be pre-authorized by calling Ray New York Customer Service at 001.917-848-4729 or shop@RayNewYork.com. Please try to have your sales order or invoice number available.

Freight Damage

You are responsible for inspecting all products for visible damage when you receive your order. Any damage to the shipping container should be documented with the freight carrier at the time of delivery. Damage to the packaging alone does not constitute damage to the product and will not be considered valid for claim purposes. You must also report any product damage to Customer Service at 001.917-848-4729 or by email at shop@RayNewYork.com within five (5) days of receipt of your order.

Claims for transit damage must be returned in their original packing cartons. If such packaging has been discarded, it is your responsibility to get sufficient packaging for the return. All returned products must be in original condition in which they were received. Customer is responsible for return shipping.

Ray New York may authorize returns (at Ray New York’s discretion) for products which have already been delivered to the customer’s location but have not been damaged in transit nor have any manufacturing defects. Re-stocking fees and shipping fees may be charged for authorized returns.

Under no circumstances should products be returned to Ray New York without prior authorization.

Shipping

RayNewYork.com online adds flat rate shipping at checkout based on the Customer’s Zip Code. Oversize items may incur additional charges. We will contact you prior to shipping if this occurs. Orders can be cancelled if the shipping proves to be too high. International orders should contact us prior to placing an order to ensure we can ship to your country.
